FISH & FISHERMAN
In the lagoon there are the mullet, mullet, eels, the bream, the silversides, basses: the caught fish reaches about 50000 kg per year. But the fish are not the only resource of the lagoon: also shellfishes (about 10000kg per year) and bivalve shellfishes (about 40000 kg per year), which are collected by divers and also with the “rasca”, a kind of rake, formed by a basket which opens in the forepart and in the rear ends in a mesh bag which collects the product. Furthermore, there is the fish culture of molluscs and mussels, the latter via long line, rows consisting of two bodies anchored and connected together by several cables maintained in suspension by a succession of floats.
