The Great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) is recognize it by the large, black body and a hooked beak, with a wingspan of 121 to 160 cm. It has a long neck (S-shaped) which is useful to swallow also big fish. It is carnivorous, it feeds mainly on fish of freshwater and saltwater. The cormorant is one of the few species of birds that can move eyes which is extremely useful during the hunt.
