The Little egret (Egretta garzetta) has its plumage entirely white, long beak is black, black legs, while the feet are yellowish. The iris is yellow. In breeding season it develops some very long ornamental feathers on the neck, at the base of the neck and on the mantle. Helping with the long legs and taking advantage of the speed and accuracy of its bill, it hunts small prey in shallow water.
